THE EARTHBOUND SEISMIC HOLDOWN SYSTEM:
The Earthbound Holdown System shall be designed by Earthbound Corporation for the loads and conditions shown on the structural plans and shall be furnished and installed in conformance with Earthbound's instructions. The Earthbound System shall be fully self-tightening and be designed to accomodate 3/8" of shrinkage per floor.
Shop Drawings and calculations shall be provided as a deferred submittal to the architect and structural engineer of record unless noted otherwise.
Shop drawings shall indicate load capacities and self-tightening device(s) of each holdown run. These products shall be as follows:
